  LANGUAGE CLUBS

Expand your child's horizons. Like many things in life, it helps to start early when learning a new language. LINGO LEARNERS LANGUAGE CLUBS aim to make language learning fun. Interesting and enjoyable activities spark children's interest in a language and culture other than their own which gives them an excellent basis for future learning.

Sessions involve a broad range of activities that are designed to be stimulating and enjoyable, including games, songs, role-plays and other creative activities. Most of the sessions are theme based. All of them involve a great deal of activity and fun.

Activities encompass the four key areas of speaking, listening, reading and writing although the focus is predominantly on speaking. The focus is to encourage children to enjoy producing language in an engaging and supportive way. There is no 'homework' set for children although teachers will encourage children to practice at home and become a member of the free-to-join LINGO LEARNERS quarterly book club.

All our teachers  have been selected for their qualifications, skills and experience. Our teachers are committed to bringing the language to life and stimulating your child's interest. They are all holders of the Working with Children Card and their references, qualifications and experience have been thoroughly checked We monitor the performance of our teachers and regularly request feedback from parents and pupils so you can be confident that your child is receiving the highest quality language tuition.

We can arrange clubs in French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin, Spanish or Vietnamese.

 LINGO LEARNERS LANGUAGE CLUBS give children the opportunity:

- To start learning another language at an age when they are most receptive and uninhibited;

- To learn in small classes with children of their own age-group;

- To achieve a high standard through activities that are interesting, rewarding & fun;

- To have some knowledge of a language other than English (LOTE) from an early age which can be advantageous in the selection process at some popular secondary schools.

Sessions are held on school premises after school once a week (term time only).  If the school is not available we will work with you to find a suitable alternative venue. We require a minimum of 6 pupils to start a group. Saturday morning clubs are also available if required.

 Group language learning is enjoyable and excellent value for money and we would be delighted to organise a LINGO LEARNERS CLUB for you. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
